2. Remarkably, Remi Tinubu has attended the UNGA more frequently than the President or Vice President, having made the trip last year as well.
3. There are now at least two presidential jets on the ground in New York, with Madam Tinubu having arrived three days before the Vice President. The actual number could be as high as four jets, presidential and private, linked to the Nigerian delegation.

4. Madam Tinubu currently has over N1 billion in expenses tied to her domestic and international travels, a sum that continues to rise. The Crux of the Matter: Where is the integrity in reducing the cost of governance? What business does the wife of a governor have attending the UNGA, turning what should be a dignified occasion into a taxpayer-funded shopping spree and a festival of vanity? This flagrant disregard for the suffering of the people, this unrestrained indulgence by those in power, will not go on indefinitely. Such an evil, devoid of empathy and emotional intelligence, must one day come to an end.

By whatever means necessary, through force or divine intervention, the reckless extravagance of our so-called leaders will be stopped. What began must eventually meet its end. The weight of their corruption will bring them down.
